Hôtel aussi magnifique en vrai que sur les photos. Situation géographique parfaite. Chambre sublime, propre et très calme. Un hôtel de choix à Paris !

I chose the Hotel Therese based on the map of Paris. I wanted to be in a central location, but on a quite side street. If I return, this will be my go to hotel. You will be walking distance from the Grand Opera, the Louvre, Royal Palace, Picasso Museum, the Seine and the dinner boat tours, too many designer shops to count, bars and restaurants. The whole staff are courteous and friendly. They have two desk clerks on at peak hours, and are either speaking English as there first language or are fairly fluent. I never felt as if they were just courteous and reserved in manner. My wife in I came to Paris with a nasty cough and cold. My wife was much worst off. The first night we settled in, I went to the front desk to ask for a emergency clinic or doctor for that night or the next day. The gentleman there called the manager, and was able to set us up with a lady doctor within 15 minutes walking distance from the hotel at 9:15AM. In Paris, you need access codes to enter large boldly painted unassuming doors. We were given the name, address, and code to enter. My wife was seen within 15 minutes of arrival for just 50 euros. It's seems as though there's a pharmacy on every other block. Everyone is speaking enough English to make up for my misable knowledge of the French language. We were able to salvage enough of the trip, and enjoyed it all at a less frantic pace than we had plannned, because of our illness. I had laryngitis to the point were I could bearly be heard, yet the majority of Parians understood me. One event that I would recommend is the river boat tours. Most take about an hour to an hour and a half. The tour we went on offers a lunch or dinner, and is worth $54 a head. Paris is the most enjoyment that I ever had coping with a cold. We will go back someday.

Stayed at H Therese twice and found it nice, well run, well located, with very kind and helpful staff. And my room had one of the best showers ever in a hotel. Definitely worth it.

This is my first time visiting a foreign country and i had no idea what to expect. I was relieved there was a receptionist that spoke English. I have very basic skills at the French language. I picked the hotel because it was within walking distance of the Louvre museum. I had a hard time finding somewhere to eat, so enjoyed the hotel breakfast in the mornings. I enjoyed the Hotel Therese very much. It's not a chain hotel and I felt welcome.
