" A rare find on the right bank, a charming hotel that is reasonable, convenient, efficient, and wonderfully decorated with excellent bathrooms , which are not always evident in Paris. It’s popular with London’s younger fashion pack, because going there feels like stepping into a home. "
New York Times, Style Magazine
" LUXE FOR LESS : An affordable hotel in the heart of paris , Hotel Thérèse is a converted XVIIIth century townhouse just around the corner from the Louvre. Owner Sylvie de Lattre has focused on creating a relaxed ambience, comfortable chic interiors and efficient service. There are lively cafés nearby, so the fact that the hotel lacks a restaurant isn’t really a problem. Notable style details in rooms include Philippe Starck lighting in the bathrooms and specially chosen pictures sourced from Parisian fleamarkets and antique fairs. "

" An 18th century townhouse on a side street, five minutes walk from the Louvre... The new look is soothing and sophisticated, so much so that I saw tourists taking pictures of the Khaki coloured lobby, with its original watercolours and little panelled library corner. Downstairs is a striking vaulted breakfast room (freshly squeezed orange juice is promised), while bedrooms are sleek and understated and dominated by towering, darkwood headboards. Note however, that the cheapest rooms are indisputably small and have narrow double beds. Ask for a deluxe room if space is important. "
Daily Telegraph, April 2003
" ...Sylvie de Lattre... a gifted latecomer to the business whose most recent venture- the revamped Hotel THERESE across the Seine- has put Paris on notice about her... ambitions."
